Hide div if it has no text in it
I have a form that generates a lot of divs on a webpage.
However I only need the divs that have text inside them.
Using jQuery, I'm trying to make it so that all divs that have no text inside them are hidden, and if there is text in the div it doesn't hide it.
I have this:
$("div.user div").each(function () {
$(this).css('display', 'none');
});
but it hides everything.
How can I make it so that I just hide the divs that have no text inside it?

You can use filter() method to achieve this:
$("div.user").filter(function() {
return $(this).text().length > 0;
}).css('display', 'none');
